GYM GUIDELINES

GUIDELINES FOR ADULT MEMBERS (16+ years of age)

1. Health and Safety Requirements

​

Medical Clearance and Physical Limitations

​

Adult members must understand their physical capabilities and consult with healthcare professionals before beginning any exercise program. This is particularly important for women over 55 and men over 45, or individuals with pre-existing medical conditions. Members should disclose any health conditions, injuries, or physical limitations to gym staff to ensure appropriate workout modifications.

Emergency Procedures

​

All members must familiarize themselves with emergency exits and procedures. In case of injury or emergency, contact staff immediately and do not move an injured person. First aid kits are located at the facility in easily accessible locations.

Injury Prevention

​

Members are responsible for knowing their limits and stopping exercise if they experience pain, dizziness, nausea, faintness, or unusual fatigue. Proper warm-up (5-10 minutes) before exercise and cool-down periods after workouts are mandatory. Spotters are essential when lifting heavy weights.

​

2. Equipment Usage and Safety

 

Proper Equipment Use

​

Members must use equipment correctly and follow all posted instructions. Inspect equipment before use and report any damage or malfunctions immediately to staff. Never use faulty or broken equipment. Use clips/collars when using weight bars and ensure weights are properly secured.

​

Weight Training Safety​

​

  • Use appropriate weights that match your fitness level

  • Maintain proper form throughout all exercises

  • Never lift weights that are too heavy for your ability

  • Control weights on every repetition

  • Return all weights to their designated storage areas immediately after use

​

Equipment Sharing

​

During busy periods, limit cardio machine use to 30 minutes when others are waiting. Allow others to "work in" on equipment between your sets when requested. Do not monopolize equipment or rest on machines between sets.

 

3. Hygiene and Cleanliness Standards

​

Personal Hygiene

​

  • Wear deodorant and maintain good personal hygiene​

​

Equipment Sanitization

​

  • Mandatory: Bring a towel to cover equipment surfaces during use

​

4. Dress Code Requirements

​

Appropriate Attire

​

  • Tops: Athletic t-shirts, tank tops, or workout shirts that cover the torso

  • Bottoms: Athletic shorts, sweatpants, or workout leggings that provide appropriate comfort

  • Footwear: Closed-toe athletic shoes only - no sandals, flip-flops, or open-toe shoes

​

5. Facility Etiquette and Behavior

​

General Conduct

​

  • Treat all staff and fellow members with respect and courtesy

  • Use headphones for all personal audio devices

​

Locker Room Guidelines

​

  • Respect others' privacy and personal space

  • Clean up after yourself - don't leave towels, toiletries, or personal items lying around

GUIDELINES FOR KIDS (UPTO 15 years)

1. Health and Safety Requirements

Medical Clearance and Physical Limitations

​​

  • All children are confined to the kids' zone, until otherwise management decides as per training requirements

  • Kids of 12-15 years may be admitted to the adult zone upstairs under supervision

  • Parents' must expalin any underlying conditions children have in the admission form, in the appropriate sections​

​

Supervision

​​

  • All children within the premises will be under constant supervision of the management or coaches present.

  • Outside the premises, the management is not responsible for the children's supervisoin and is the responsibility of parents/guardians

​​

2. Dress Code

​

  • All kids have to wear comfortable clothing of their choice

  • It should be of athletic nature and provides comfort throughout the training or workout sessions

  • NO jewellery or any accessories are allowed inside the workout zone. Parents can keep those with them in the reception/waiting area

  • Hair restraints are welcome for girls

  • Provide one water bottle and a small towel

3. Sanitation and Hygiene

​

  • Make sure that all appropriate hygiene are followed

  • Make sure that kids are fed at least two hours before sessions to avoid stomach issues or vomitting

GUIDELINES FOR PARENTS/GUARDIANS ACCOMPANYING KIDS

1. General Guidelines

​

  • Please follow all gym guidelines if you are accompanying your kid

  • You are restricted till the waiting area unless you are a member of the gym

  • You can use the washroom by letting the gym employees of your needs

  • Please maintain silence or an appropriate level of noise without disturbing the sessions

  • Please bring extra clothing for your kids in case of emergency

  • At all times, do not leave your child unattended if you are in the waiting/reception area
